What kind of diacritics does it remove?

I understand you can hardly try it, because currently the program is available in czech language only. The internationalized version could be available in a week or two I hope.

As for the question, I don't really know. It should remove all kinds of diacritics marks. After english version of the program is out, you can try to pause the queue, put some text in the text area, send it, select it in queue and edit it. This way the text should again appear in the text area, but with diacritics removed.

Does it remove Hebrew diacritics?

There is still no support for Israeli network so we cannot test that yet...

As I said, it is just enough to pause the queue, send a message (to the queue), and edit it back from queue. Because all the diacritics is removed when you hit Send button.

This is not an important function anyway I think, because I expect most of the web gateways will handle the diacritics internally and still remove it if they don't support it. It is the same as in the web interface of that operator. If you can write your message with diacritics, you can also send that from Esmska.

It does not remove Hebrew punctuation, I checked it out just now

I tried entering ֱֲֳֵֶֻand־ All of these returned from the queue after I couldn't send them (No support for Israel networks)

And by the way - There are several possibilities to send messages to the Israeli Networks, the most popular one is sending the messages via the ICQ network (for free, only includes "Reply to ICQ" as a prefix) The other ways of sending messages for free is via the operator's websites, It is pretty tough to decipher the code in order to use it externally

Well if Israeli gateways take care of punctuation, it's not such a problem that the program can't remove it. I am afraid I am not able to fix that if I don't understand Hebrew characters. And there's no point in solving that when there are no Israeli gateways available in Esmska. Someone has to add support for them first:

The Israeli operators does not clean the punctuation

While sending the messages from ICQ you can send whatever characters you like and the mobile receives them as empty boxes

I tried that sometime

The only way of filtering (as much as I know) is via the website
The box for message input is filtering out the characters that won't be shown at the mobile, that's not the case with ICQ
Is there a way to add support for SMS sending via ICQ in your app?

ICQ does not use a gateway, they use their own servers to do it

Im not sure that the webgate is filtering, the messagebox for sending does not allow typing some characters but if you can pass this sort of "protection" you can send every character you desire without any interruption...

I will consult my friends though and see if this is possible
