Intergration with compiz

1)Does enterainer use any features of compiz project? If not ,Will a compiz enabled system cause performance problems (because it happens to 3d apps)?

2)Is there any plan to add transistion effect(like apple) from the desktop to the entertainer when it loads?

Here are some answers to your questions.

1) No, we use the clutter graphical library to generate our user interface. To answer the second part of your question, I'd say "potentially." I think that this question is more about how your hardware uses Compiz rather than Compiz itself. Some users, like myself, have zero problems with Entertainer while Compiz is enabled. Other users can't get Entertainer to run at all when Compiz is enabled. This is not a problem that we can solve as Entertainer developers. It is an issue that either the clutter developers or the Compiz developers would need to solve.

2) I don't own an Apple product so I'm not sure what you mean here. Entertainer is meant to load like any other Linux application. Additionally, we do have an option to start in full screen mode, which would be different than the typical application, but I'm guessing this isn't what you meant. If I haven't answered your question here, could you please provide some clarification about what you mean?
