hi Emmanuel Ninos and Mirko,

The technical anwser is yes but the time it cost you and the high technical knowledge that is needed.
We alsways advice to do just a clean installation. Because it also keeps out wierd problem with the kernel and a lot of other things.
And it cost you a lot less time and effort

NOTE back up all your files first.

Clean install erasing the disk and install freya, your data on luna will be gone.
just boot the USB (or cd ) and install freya.

I can understand that u want to keep some specific settings ect. as u mentioned.
But i am afraid that installed software packages will not be possible because of the change lower layers.
Ubuntu 12.04 to 14.04 but the packages u have installed are also available for Ubuntu 14.04 for 99% of them.
( it is possible that some devs quite and do no longer update there packages)

Greek keyboard can be chosen at installation so that's not the problem in my opinion.

Your home folder can be kept when updating but pleas note that there are no applications on there.
The home folder only contains your data ( videos, pictures, documents and some settings of apps and some other stuff)
But i would advice to just back up everything u need. because this makes installation of Freya for u much easier.
There are some tutorials for ubuntu 14.04 on how to keep the home partition on installation pleas follow one of them.
If you still want to keep it

All your preferences needs to be set again when done with the installation of Freya.
Besides everyone has to do this when they want to upgrade to Freya.

Yes it takes some time to get everything installed and set the way u want.
But nobody is forcing u to update to freya because the support for luna will continue tilll 2016
( at least security issue ) so you can update when u want and have time to do this.

Can you help with this problem?
