disable middle mouse click

I would like to disable the middle button/scroll wheel affect on desktop workspace switching. It will cause the workspace to switch uncontrolled. I don't use different workspaces because I have dual monitors.

Check dconf-editor, such key might exist. If not, report a bug on Gala (Wishlist).
