Wrong Page Redirection

Asked by Lydia Phiri

I have EHCP installation version 0.35.3, when i first installed it everything was working properly until now, when i click any links on the default ehcp pages everything is just redirecting to http://default/ehcp and since this page is not anywhere on the server things are failing.

When my clients try to access the cpanel and go to FTP and phpmyadmin it keeps saying the same thing http://default/phpmyadmin page not found.

I have run out of ideas now. please help me.

from: ehcp.net/ehcp_yeni.tgz
this is beta version. may work better, includes many fixes.

Would it be possible to upgrade the installation without disturbing the current setup? I am afraid i might lose client websites. Could you please assist me on how i can do it without losing data.

sure,
using ssh or something, backup your current ehcp installation located at: /var/www/new/ehcp

after that, replace all files in that folder with the new version, but make sure you do not replace/overwrite the file listed below.
config.php
apachehcp.conf
apachehcp_subdomains.conf
apachehcp_auth.conf
apachehcp_passivedomains.comf

and thats it, easy staff.

login to ehcp panel and you may see some error messages, but must of the time this is normal because the database is just starting to update itself with the new ehcp settings, so just log-out and wait a minute or two then log back in and the errors should be gone. if not and you still see errors log-out and wait then try again, if any errors keep showing up and don't move then report back to us, but the steps i have told you should not effect your ehcp service, because the errors i talked about are for the new settings being installed, but the current.

hope that helps.
