Where does the DomUI name come from?

Dom stands for "Document Object Model", which is a term used for HTML and XML documents. For these, a DOM is a "tree" of nodes, each node either being a HTML tag or a #text node. DomUI creates such a tree and by manipulating it creates the UI (User Interface). Hence DomUI.

In Dutch, the word "Dom" means "Stupid"; the word UI means "Onion". So Dutch people see DomUI as a stupid product which makes you cry...

It's hard to think of a name that has no silly meanings in any language ;-)
