Gmail Auto Login ?

Should the Gmail applet take me directly to my Inbox? I do get notified when I get new messages and the validation check works, however when I click on my Inbox/Compose it brings me to the gmail login screen. Is it possible to have it bypass this screen since I have provided my account information already?

You still have to log in to gmail inside your web browser, we have no way to control that.

Can you help with this problem?
