Can I "un-center" Docky?

Docky auto centers itself to the screen, can I override that and move it to the far left or right if located at the bottom of the screen, or to the top if located vertically on the side of the screen?

No, you can not. Docks are centered.

I have a dual monitor setup and I use it as one large desktop, having Docky centered on one screen doesn't seem right. In this respect if I leave Docky on the bottom it is quartered, not centered.

If an option to position Docky wherever I like along the edge of the screen is out of the question then would it be possible to run Docky in panel mode while keeping docklets next to other icons rather than at the end of the "panel" ?
