250MB of RAM occupied - WHY?

Asked by mrtymek

I'm a little bit annoyed about docky taking up around 250MB of RAM.
It usually starts at low values, but as I do not generally reboot my computer, after about 24 hrs It has about 250MB's. Is that a bug, or is that a feature? What's going on inside docky? Is it caching something, or what?
Thanks

duh, when I first used the search feature for "ram" and "memory" it gave me no results... I guess It's the memory leak problem I've found out about a minute after posting...

Yes, we are very aware of the memory leak problem. All I can say is that we're working on it, and it's the highest priority for us to get it resolved.
