It appears development has ceased on Dockbar. Time to merge DockBarX to mainline?

It looks like the original Dockbar project hasn't been updated in a few years (last code change was June 2010). Is it tme to merge the DockBarX series to the mainline...not necessarily liternally in the VCS, but at least symbolocially by updating the project information to reflect DockBarX as the current main project, with Vanilla series Dockbar as an historical version?
