Evolution Plugin v1.2: Evolution Contacts not Indexed

Do you have libevolution3.0-cil installed? Generally this is the root of
problems with the evolution plugin.

So, is everything in place with "libevolution3.0-cil". However, is there a way to check whether "libevolution3.0-cil" works correctly?

I should have a similar problem .. with libevolution3.0-cil installed, and an up-to-date Intrepid, gnome-do and evolution, starting gnome-do from shell produce this output :

I'm not able to search for contact trough gnome-do. Also, when I'm typing in a full email address, the "email a friend" action pop-ups evolution new message window, but the receiver field is filled with ///address.I.type@domain (notice the triple /).

I'm not sure if I should open a bug, as Gnome-do is not crashing. Still, these behaviours completely disables productive integration btwn evolution and gnome-do ... unfortunately.

Thanks Mathieu and Guido for your input, which helps me a few steps forward to more precise (I work on a 32 bit, up-to-date Ubuntu 8.10 system) and to drill down on my system to the level of error messages in the shell.

I think this is a plugin bug, therefore I just opened a bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/do/+bug/292622.

Thanks Guido or further processing of this issue.
However, how will it proceed now with this bug? Dave thinks it is a bug in libevolution3.0-cil. So it seems not a business of the Gnome Do dev team? Waht about the next steps, do you have any clue?

I can confirm that the fix worked and my Evolution contacts are now processed in Gnome Do as expected.

I've followed those instructions completely and rebooted. It still doesn't work for me on intrepid.

I copied and pasted the command so there is no mistake there and ibedataserver1.2-11 is installed.

Any ideas guys?
