Designate handling of floating ips

The Usecase is: we create a new teantant, create a floating IP (generate notification - designate is listing) and then attacht the floating IP to a VM

my expections is that the DNS record gets created with a "somewhat" useful name for us ... but right now I am puzzled what designate will come up with. there needs to be some "logic"

Hi,

Yeah, there will have to be some discussion about how this is done.

The feature in general is on the roadmap, and work should be beginning on the PTR support work now, which will lay some of the ground work for taking neutron events, and processing them.

Any suggestions would be great!
