wireless not starting

dell mini 9 version 8.04.2
on booting the system the wireless does not work and no internet connection. if i close down and start up again the wireless works. any ideas? this happens 90% of the time. when i first had the computer this was not an issue. i do not recall changing any settings.

Have you checked if the wireless is enabled in first place (right click on the NetworkManager icon). It happens to me sometimes that the wireless is not enabled at boot. Enabling it fixes (somehow) the problem. However it would be nice if the wireless is enabled at all times.

Can you help with this problem?
