how to reset the password of the backup if you forgot one

recently i created a backup and encrypted it but forgot its password and i do not know how to reset or remove the password

Unfortunately, there's no way to change the password of a backup.

Instead, you can back up to a new folder and start a fresh backup. (Or delete the old folder and back up again to the same location.)
