The snap version of Deja-Dup does not integrate with nautilus on the Ubuntu Unity desktop.

Asked by mark maurer

Ubuntu 18.04 with Unity desktop.

Using latest snap of Deja-Dup (40.6)

If I open Files (nautilus) and right-click on a file, there is no restore option, as there was with the .deb version (37.x).

Restoring from the command line still works.

From the mailing list:
The nautilus extension does not work with snap/flatpack.

I believe this is a permission issue. So this specific restore option inside of the nautilus context menu will not come back with the snap/flatpack versions. But there is some thinking behind the scenes about an inside ui solution for single file restore.

Hope that helps
