webdav for use with zotero

Asked by geoffrey

I am a non-technical user, so this might not make sense...
I am currently using jungledisk to back up my data on zotero (www.zotero.org), a bibliographic reference software. Backups in zotero are done through a webdav server, and I can connect to my S3 account via jungle disk through a localhost address (http://localhost:2667/).

Can I do the same thing with deja-dup?

Deja Dup can backup to anywhere GNOME can (plus S3). This should include webdav.

So you can either connect to S3 directly or if you can use the Places->Connect to Server... dialog to connect to your webdav share or localhost URL, it will work.

(I meant "anywhere GNOME can write to")

Thanks for your answer. My question was not too clear, and concerned the ability of DD to connect to my S3 account as a networked drive/webdav - this is what jungle disk lets me do (so only when JD is running, I can access my files via localhost:2667) .
After some searching, and judging from your answer, I think this is not possible.
I will mark this as solved, though please correct me if I am wrong.
