DC++ Multi Hashing Request - Mulitple drives hashing at the same time , speed up those with multi terrabytes and 1 to 20 TB shared

Asked by Charliebrownau

I would like to request the feature for DC++ client and ADC++ client
to support MULTI-HASHING .

Many people with large file servers will find with a new edition of the client
leads to DAYS of re hashing files on DC++ and currently DC++ only
supports hashing ONE FILE at a time on ONE hard drive .

Would it be possible with anyone with 8 to 30 hard drives using DC++
to add the feature that you can set it up to hash TWO or THREE hard drives
once once

This also may could make use of file servers with Multiple CPUS (Xeons) or
Multiple core CPU's . One HDD hashing on Core 2 , another HDD hashing on Core 3
OS on Core 4 , etc

Both request of yours sound reasonable, however I am sure both would need a lot of restructure and coding.
I don't think these features will be made in the near future, but anyway, I suggest you to file a bug report marked as 'Wishlist' about these, because core developers of DC++ hardly if ever check the support section...

Can you help with this problem?
