Classic: can't connect

Asked by paul

Classic: impossible to connect with most "stable release" on win7 x64,
installed & opened without issue.

i have an unlimited connection on a sim in a wifi router
nothing marsian that windows recognizes easily but not
your application with a latest programation of 2021...

talking about firewalls ? ive had zero issues with firewalls with all my applications (about 100),
it never warned me, never popped up.

result: even for a "modern" application updated a month ago, your dc++ is everything but user friendly
& still can't achieve the main goal here, connecting..

DC++ is working and has worked for millions in the last 20 years. Maybe sometimes not right out of the box but most who has the patience to figure out what can be the problem they succeed at the end.
Or they get help by providing useful information.
For example you say you connecting... to whom exactly? Hublists, hubs, users?
