How come I never see the same TTH twice?

Asked by Grover

I've used previous versions of DC++ and never had any problems. I don't know if this is a configuration problem or just some fluke.
Whenever I search for files, I rarely ever (and I mean RARELY) find multiple files with the same TTH (I've been checking). And then when I search for alternates, it only ever finds one file, obviously from the user I was already downloading from.
And if I search for a very common file that has no choice but to have the same TTH each time (ie. dc++ 0.7091) I only get a single search result, MAYBE two.
What is the chance that out of over 15000 users only ONE person has a copy of the most recent dc++ in their file list?

Very low. But there is a really high chance of having big minimum search intervals defined on a hub where 15000 users logged on.

Are you sure that this is not a result of you misinterpreting the search result groupings that were added during the .70x series?

Can you help with this problem?
