I get "Could not open target file: Device not ready" What is the sollution to this problem?
Version 0.7091, OS Win2000

Just read and interpret the message. That will help.

Could not open target file > DC++ cannot open the target file. This means what it states: it cannot write your downloaded file to its location.

Why?

Device not ready > How could I translate it to English? Probably "Device not ready" is the best translation.

So you should go to Settings then verify your Download Settings. Probably you set up a download directory which is a removable drive (cd, usb, etc.) and there's no disk in it. Change the finished and unfinished downloads' directory to something on your hard disk, that should help ;)
