How can I get my IP off

How can I get my IP address from showing others??Hopefully someone understands my problem,´cause my english isn`t that good!!Please help!!

Why would you want to hide your IP ? The IP is public and there is nothing wrong with it being showed. The other users connect to your IP so you/them can download.

Since DC++ is an peer-to-peer application, the two peers needs to know who to connect to and send the data requested.
The only way that's possible is through the IP. So there is no way to hide your IP from showing.
