DC++

file menu and other drop downs are a black box

I just installed 0.705, and I cannot see my drop-down menus (File, View, etc.) just below the very top of the screen. They are there, but covered by a black box. Clicking on the black box, or an <alt-F> will bring them up, but I'd rather see the words and no black box.
Any help is appreciated!
