DC++

I cannot seek anymore

I installed the last version of DC++ but I do not like the new version.
So I uninstalled it and kept the old favs and so on. Before that I backed-up the necassery file but when I tried to restore them by overwriting I got still the new version.
So I installed version 0.699 again anf kept all Favs etc.
After thet I have a good connection but I cannot get a file list and cannot seek. Please help me.

Rambo from the sounds of it you need to reconfigure your connection settings within DC++. Let me know if this is the case.

I did not solved it with a reconfiguration as You suggested.
I tried it but it did not help in any way.
So I have re-installed DCPlusPlus-0.699.exe and this works ( only if you keep your old configuration wich the program very smart asking for)
The problems are now solved.
I suggest everybody to use only ,in the beginning, to go on with the old DCPlusPlus-0.699.exe because also my WinXP firewall blocks also the new version.It may be caused I use McAfee Internet Security. When I install the new version DCPlusPlus-0.705.exe
Win Xp firewall takes it over. I have very good experience with McAfee !!
May be a bug inthe new version ??
