DC++

We want to setup dc++ on Univeristy LAN which is protected by proxy So chance of connecting to outer world is a little bit difficult.

Hye,
First of I would like to say I used dc++ at home and connected to public hubs So I have no clue what to do if we have to connect through proxy network but If there are any solution possible for to setup on wide LAN in University type network in which we connect our PC's to share with each others.

Depending on the gateway used and how it is configured there's a chance that you're able to connect to public hubs and even transfer files in passive mode.
Otherwise you have to set up a DC hub inside your network which can connect users from the local uni network only.
