Unsure why I am banned

Every time I try to connect to the hub ruxan.com:1411, it says connected then right underneath it says:

<Hub-Security> Your IP or Hostname is banned
*** Disconnected

I have never done anything wrong, I only use DC++ here and there to download music, so I have no idea why I would be banned. Is there a way I can contact the operator of this hub to at least know the reason I have been banned?

which apartments are you living in? i think the whole of easton ave apartments is banned. i think someone from easton pissed off the admins and they just did it to make an example. dont worry, its not you personally that has done something to warrant banning.

As an answer for all future questions "why am i banned" , it's the hub banning you and we don't know why. Ask the hub operators.

probs not best to clog up launchpad as the question is specific to the hub you are using howell! it depends on the hub, there should be contact information when you connect or look up the hub name etc. for the ruxan hub go to www.ruxan.com , the email is there or post on the forums. my dc is working again with ruxan, so i think the ban on easton ave is lifted.

I'm having the same problem. I can't find an email address on ruxan's website. I've tried registering for the forums, but my confirmation email doesn't come through. Does anyone have an email address for someone at ruxan?

I am having a similar issue. Sharing over 2-3 gigs. I'm on rutger's campus in new brunswick and am a part time student.

Trying to access this wirelessly from the classrooms.

I have been using ruxan for 2 yrs now.Never had any problems.For no reason my IP has been banned today.the ruxan.com site is undergoing some upgrade since forever!! Can anyone tell me whom to contact for removing the ban?

This is the wrong forum for such questions, why any user are banned from a hub is nothing we can ever answer. It is all up to that specific hub and it's rules for whatever reasons they may have to ban an user.

You can try to see on the hublists pages if you can get more information there. Use pages like http://openhublist.org/ or http://publichublist.nl/ to search for the hub(s) or to find an OP from the hub your banned in, being in some other hub as OP and be able to ask whats the reason is and how you can fix that.
