DC++

How can limit the upload speed?

I would like to know if there is a way to limit the upload speed. I can't seem to find any option in the settings. Is there a way to do this? Thanks.

In DC++ there is no such option.
You can use another program to do this.

there is one but it doesn't work . it's like the dummy button at the stop light . .. when you open settings on the left where it reads personal information .... on the bottom of that panel on the right side is reads line speed upload, you can change it all you want , nothing happens .

No, it works perfectly. It sends the correct text to the hub, indicating how fast your upload speed is. DC++ has never and will never support upload limiting, but there are some mods out there that do. See http://www.dslreports.com/faq/6513

You can try using software like Netlimiter. Be aware, however, Netlimiter has (in the past) been prone to crash DC++.

(No, there's no way anyone could see that you are using network limiting software.)
