This area is not actively read by developers. In fact, if Launchpad would allow it, this entire answer section would be disabled.

Post _any_ and _all_ questions and comments to the mailing list. That is the only guaranteed way to get a response.

I don't think that the Answers section is useless.

Actually it's much easier to search and use than the mailing lists for computer-illiterate persons. Not only that, but it also *functions* as a mailing list. Just subscribe to the answer tracker and you are going to receive all the enquiries and status changes by e-mail just as I do. Also it is possible to answer questions by e-mail and have them automagically posted on the answer tracker.

I think I am doing a decent job answering the questions and I see no reason to shut the tracker down.

It is better to have all information in one place. Plus there are lots of people who don't read this area so questions might not get answered.
