chromium-browser google pdf plugin

Asked by yhe

The newly released Google native pdf plugin is not recognized in the launchpad 491 version. The libpdf.so that I manually installed is found and is enabled as a plugin. It worked in the previous version after I acquired it from Google. Disabling the Google pdf plugin then lets mozplugger to manage the pdf so reading PDF's via the browser is not of concern.

Just wondering why the Google reader fails and also wondering why the Google reader is not packaged in the launchpad daily.

The software are packaged after some tests, and I presume people of Ubuntu don't check Chromium each day.

The Google PDF plugin is non-free, and its license does not allow redistribution.
