Chromium Browser

Does Chromium run in a sandbox?

I'd like to know if the Chromium version I install from your package is starting in a sandbox or not.

The German ubuntuusers.de wiki says it depends on the maintainer of the package[1]. Maybe this information is outdated / only related to Ubuntu versions before 10.04 which do not include Chromium in the standard repository.

Yes, it does, since the sandbox support landed on linux upstream, all the ubuntu builds having been using it by default.
So all 3 PPAs and the version in Ubuntu 10.04 have it.
