Pseudorapidity - plot
Hi,
I obtained a pT(photon) - cross section plot and pseudorapidity - cross section plot for the process p p -> nu, Nu, A (nu is any neutrino, Nu is any antineutrino). I applied the following cuts (according to the ATLAS paper, arXiv:1512.05910 ):
pT>150
Emiss>150
-1.37<N(
and distributions
150< pT<900
150<Emiss<900
-1.37<N<1.37
The cross sections in the pT plot are smaller than the ones in the pseudorapidity plots. For instance; while in pT plot max cross section is 0.7 fb (then it decreases as pT increases), in pseudorapidity plot it is around 14 fb (when pseudorapidity=0). Why the cross sections in the pseudorapidity plot are bigger than the cross sections in the pT plot. Did I do something wrong? Is there any extra contribution to the cross section in the pseudorapidity plot?
