Feature requests

Hi, I really like how CairoPlot is shaping up! Is there a mailing list? Or is this the place for discussions? I just wanted to voice some feature requests that I'm hoping to see in the coming versions before I can start using CairoPlot:

- I'm sure you're already working on more chart types/features in general (see Google Charting, matplotlib, gnuplot, ...), but two things I'm looking for in particular are stacked bar charts and error bars

- improved interop with matplotlib/pylab/numpy (e.g. take arrays)

- on par with the quality of Office 2007 and XtraCharts (http://devexpress.com/Products/NET/Controls/Charting/screenshot_gallery.xml)

- color themes

First of all, thanks for the compliment and the interest on CairoPlot.

Let's get to your requests now:

- Mailing List
Honestly, I haven't thought about creating a Mailing List until you suggested it. So I created a GoogleGroup for it. You'll be receiving the invitation sooner or later.

- New charts
Adding new charts is the best part of the whole coding experience. So expect to see more and more of them in the next months. This week, I've added the ScatterPlot class. And the stacked bar charts are next. Do you have any suggestion on how the data should be passed?

- Improved interop
Nothing has been done on this direction yet. But it surely is necessary.

- Color themes
It's on the horizon. Coming in a few weeks.

Thanks for the nice suggestions. As you see, some of the requests are being fulfilled or will be in a few weeks. Others might take more time, but they'll eventually become reality.
