Will Cairo-Dock work with the Cinnamon desktop?

Will Cairo-Dock work with the Cinnamon desktop? I read it works with Unity, so we're in the same GNOME 3 universe, but does it work as a stand-alone independent panel, or is there integration with the desktop's panels?

Hello,

You can launch the dock as a session[1] but you can also launch it on any other sessions just like before ;) (simply launch it from your applications menu)
