Stupid question: is Bazaar alive today In 2021'th year?

Asked by Vitaly Novichkov

I heard about the Bazaar VCS many years ago, and once I had to check something about it. However:
- There were no official releases after 2.7.0 that was out 5 years ago (in 2016'th year)
- Last actual commits were was in 2017'th year. I saw some other repos with the newer commits, but they didn't look like real work, or am I blind?

Now I'm just curious, is this project really alive, or it was put into hiatus and no longer actively maintained?

Okay, I found the answer to why this wasn't updated since 2017:

https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/bazaar/2017q2/076170.html

Developers of the project desired to rework it majorly, and they did a fork with a new name rather than making the next version of the same project, so, by the fact, the REAL continuation of this is now lived here https://launchpad.net/brz.

EDIT: Fixed a typo in a link
