Bazaar inactivity just growing and growing?
I have used bazaar as a VCS in a couple of jobs in the past, and it was well received.
Today, checking its launchpad pages, I see that since 2013 it hasn't basicaly improved or corrected many important issues and bugs. The milestones page is laughable, seems like an ironically outdated page.
After Bazaar 2.6.0 (2013/07) there is no other release?! 2.7 and 2.6.1 seems unplanned.
The official is abandoned (not just look): the last "community news" dates 2014 /01/31, and it's about the eclipse plugin. Like the previous notice. The other two notices are 2.6.0 release announce and the celebration of one thousand download of the eclipse plugin. This is not an old browser cache I'm using without knowing. But it's exactly the same page I have seen in 2014/jan, when I thought about using bzr in a small company that was starting to use any VCS for their main systems.
Is bzr being left aside? A couple of years ago I had a few reason to choose bazaar over git (and svn too). Today, I'm really sad to see that things are just being abandoned (kind of like Ubuntu has been in some aspects, since a year or two, also). Right?
1) Is there any real activity on bzr I just can't see?
2) github, gitlab, many others. But very few free (FOSS only or not) servers support bzr format, even for importing. Some projects seem to have moved away from bzr. Why should we choose it instead of git?
