Garbage text in SSH session
I am using:
$ byobu --version
Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06
I am using a custom .bashrc file where I change the prompt formatting. That being said, I can't replicate the errors in screen itself and it doesn't happen in gnome terminal.
When I SSH into a server, then do a reverse search in the shell for a command I need to run, the end of the line stays on the screen despite cancelling the search. The best way to explain this is with screengrabs:
1) Right after reverse searching: http://
2) Notice the rightmost text stays in the window: http://
Of course bash is weird, and it may be because of my own .bashrc, but it doesn't happen elsewhere.
Best,
Ryan
