How to update Burg menu after kernel-update?

Asked by Bernhard Kleine

Two days ago I updated to kernel 3.0.0.19. Inspite of several attempts when running burg-mkconfig, the menu is not updated, the new kernel image, however, found.

I copy the /etc/burg.d/30_linux_proxy scripts which contains the menuentries:
#!/bin/sh
#THIS IS A GRUB PROXY SCRIPT
'/etc/burg.d/proxifiedScripts/linux' | /etc/burg.d/bin/grubcfg_proxy "+'Ubuntu GNU/Linux, with Linux 3.0.0-16-generic'~a70d184fcbceeb314a4bc94a850fe70d~
-*
+'Ubuntu GNU/Linux, with Linux 3.0.0-17-generic'~1242a2a0f71afcfeae243ac8348542ff~
+'Ubuntu GNU/Linux, with Linux 3.0.0-17-generic (recovery mode)'~4e31ad04f8d10070821f123ff371df48~

"
What are these long hex-numbers for? Otherwise I would have change 17 to 19.

How to enter the new kernel into the menu-list?

Thanks for help!

You can simply run "sudo burg-update".
