Blender´s internationalization?

What´s about internationalization? I want to start a project to translate Blender into german. Well, I already have translated a lot. Now I want to continue online.
I´m not sure what was your intention with "https://launchpad.net/blender"? It´s possible to join in for translation reason?

We handle translations right in the repository. There haven't been plans to use the translation section provided at launchpad, but we might investigate it.
