Done; No backup needed - not true!
Back In Time Version: 1.0.34
ubuntu 12.04
Qt: 4.8.2
KDE Development Platform: 4.13.2
rsync version 3.0.9 protocol version 30
I execute backintime-kde4
This is over ssh as a non-root user.
I can see the directory it creates for BIT on the remote machine, so ssh does not appear to be the problem. The dir is empty.
I've also tried backing up to the same local drive. Same results. No log file is created and so no errors or information.
The one and only clue I can find is: "Profile id not found: 2". This is in fact profile number 2, not the main profile. The main profile gets it's own error because the USB drive it expects is not plugged in.
Running "backintime-kde4 --profile-id 2 -b > /tmp/bit.txt 2>&1" results in the same "Profile id not found:2" error. I should point out, that each time I enter and exit BIT, I have to recreate the second profile, it's not getting saved.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Thank you in advance.
