restore entire snapshot

Asked by landroni

Dear developers
I'm currently using BiT to backup my Debian testing apt meta info. When restoring files, I would need to restore the entire snapshot at one time. Is this possible with 0.9.26 or one of the more recent beta releases?

Thank you
Liviu

You can restore an entire folder (just select it and click restore) but for root folder you need to restore them one by one.

IMHO this would be a nice feature. I use BiT to migrate the whole system from Karmic to Lucid (after reinstall) and to migrate my system from my machine to others. An option to restore the whole snapshot would facilitate this very much.

Yes, this is a very important feature for me. It's strange that you are unable to select the / folder to restore.
