Removing programs

I'm trying to remove a program from the dock that I have mistaking place there. Need help removing it.

That is for applets. I have a few Programs in the launcher I need to remove.

You need to go into Awn Settings and go to the tab down the side that says Launchers, and you can remove launchers form there by selecting the one you want to remove and pressing the delete button.
