Minimized Apps disappear

My running apps do not show on the dock nor do they show when minimized. They just disappear off the screen. Have to kill the process and restart the app.

Cairo Main Menu, Cairo Clock, Stacks, Trash bin, To Do List

As stated in the other question that you commented on, you need the Taskmanager/Launcher applet activated in order for tasks and/or launchers to be visible on the dock.

Thank you, I removed it to clean up my dock for space since I could get to it by right clicking and I figured it would be something I would not need much. However I do not know what I have changed but it is not showing up on the dock but is in the applets list of active applets. Which I like and it all working fine.
