Why does AWM change the order of Tasks and how can I set the order?

When using AWM it seems to re-order task icons based on the last app I used, although it does seem a bit random. How can I stop AWM doing this and arrange the icons in the order I want?
It gets quite confusing when you have a number of apps open and their location keeps changing.

This is known issue with interactions between awn and libwnck. The only real fix at this time is to disable the core Launcher/Taskmanager applet and use the experimental, proof of concept, standalone-launcher applet family instead.
