Visibility Toggle Hotkey or Button

I would like to request a feature that allows the AWN bar to be hidden momentarily or toggled via a hotkey or button on the bar.
The reason is, that sometimes the bar obscures a maximized window and it would be good to hide it just at that time without having to go into preferences.
I know there is an auto-hide option, but what I am proposing is quite different since it is for users who want the bar to be visible most of the time.
I believe it would be a very convenient addition.

Thanks, there is already a bug for this feature (which I have linked to), which will be taken into consideration when the autohide feature is refactored in this development cycle (0.3 -> 0.4).
