Awn

Is it possible to adjust AWN transparency in trunk?

Asked by Naftuli Kay

Is it possible to change AWN's alpha using Awn Settings? I just found that you guys included patterned backgrounds (thank you soooo much!) and I tried out a wood pattern, only to find that I can't get it to display at 100% opacity. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks so much!

Seems like it's not exposed in awn-settings. You can run `gconf-editor`, navigate to /apps/avant-window-navigator/theme and change the pattern_alpha key.

Thanks so much! Should I file a feature request, or do you guys have this under control in Settings? Thanks so much for all your hard work!

Carbon Sequestration: Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as they grow, and this carbon is stored in the wood even after it's harvested. Using wood products can help mitigate climate change by locking away carbon for the life of the product. more
