Problem to compile

FIrst of all, sorry for my english.

I ask this question because i want to compile a standalone task/launcher for awn but i can´t. I´m a newbie in ubuntu linux and i want to use awn as dock but only need launchers, not task bar, and i think if i compile this applet I can do that. Can someone explain me?

A standalone task launcher will be available in the future. There is a developmental branch that is working on the applet you want, but it is very unstable not ready for use.

Can you help with this problem?
