Not accepting my password for any authentication or anything else.

Asked by PEGGY DREXLER

Cannot log on to the system; not accepting my password, so I have to log on as a 'guest'. Cannot delete any files without authentication, and it is Not accepting my password; it says that 'I am not the owner of any of those files', so I can't delete. I am trying to clean my system out. How do I completely start all over; from scratch; like I just purchased it from a retailer?

Are you able to log in with your username and the new password?
If this does not work, what happens instead?

Can you help with this problem?
