Unable to install software from Ubuntu Software Center
When I try to install software, after typing in my password to authenticate, it seems to try then I get the message "Failed to download package files. Check your internet connection" I'm confused because I'm on the Internet all the time. This used to work and at a certain point just stopped. I'm using Juno DSL with a Linksys router, connected by ethernet cable if that helps. Thanks, Don

All support for Ubuntu 11.10 has ended one and a half years ago.
I recommend that you upgrade to a supported release of Ubuntu (12.04, 14.04 or 15.04).
Can you help with this problem?
Provide an answer of your own, or ask Don Copler for more information if necessary.
