how can i get started - just joinned

just registered and joined . dont know how to get started. am just an ordinary computer user - no programing language knowledge

I am in the same boat as anyone would would like to help, yet have only a little programming experience. Since I am here first. I shall take a stab at both training myself in Python using course and reference materials on the internet as much as possible. If I run into a problem I shall attempt to direct my questions to the best available source on the internet and avoid distracting people involved in this project unless progress becomes blocked.

If this works out, other people might want to pursue a similar path. I will attempt to document all I do in the off chance someone else can follow along themselves.

If someone else follows along, I will try to mentor them as best as possible, utilizing available resources to keep their own progress moving forward.

PROPOSED STEPS (A Gantt chart tool will be used to manage each step and schedule)

I would recommend you don't use caps often in your posts, the general net-ettiquite makes caps sound like yelling ;P

The easiest way to get started on helping out with AnonPlus (or any project) is to be a bug filer. Finding bugs, proposing solutions, and even helping to fix bugs, is a good way to start out with any project.

The Ubuntu Bug Squad, for the Ubuntu project, says this somewhat often for "How can I get started in helping [arbitrary project]?" Their answer is "Answer questions, ask questions, report bugs, and generally try to improve the project." I do this for several projects in addition to AnonPlus, including the NGINX web server team (I"m the Lucid packager for their PPAs).

As for proposing features, you may want to look into creating Blueprints for proposed features, or file feature-request bugs (I'll clear this with the rest of the AnonPlus devs, but processing feature-request bugs shouldn't be too hard).

Me, I am not an active dev on the AnonPlus team, I'm the person who's working to package the project for Debian/Ubuntu systems, but of course I dont get too much time nowadays to do that (VERY BUSY with Bug Squad and the Ubuntu UDS).
