If I add a php directory under python-snippets, would that add php integration?

Is it possible to just create extra directories underneath the python-snippets directory for other languages or would you need to create a whole other branch for the other languages. It would be great to be able to have snippets for multiple languages in acire. Perhaps have different -snippet directories that a user could subscribe to. If I could be pointed in the right direction, I can try my hand adding this ability.

I am keen to only have Acire support Python for now: the aim of Acire is to lower the bar to Python development, so I am keen to keep it focused on that problem domain.
